Why Moore Taste?

In December of 2017 at a family gathering with nieces and nephews around, Maxine (our founder and head chef) had just finished serving a meal. Everyone had eaten and compliments on the food echoed throughout the house,“Good food as usual Auntie!’ they exclaimed.

Maxine then shared with them how she wanted to make something of her years of catering experience, skill and beloved multi-generational recipes. She tells them, “I’m seriously going to do something here, there’s lots of things I want to do, lot’s of things I want to achieve – I just need a name for it”.
From across the living room, Maxine’s niece, Shannon (who has since sadly passed away) said,
“Auntie your food is very tasty, your last name is Moore, why not Moore Taste?”
And there, in the middle of family, in the middle of gathering and celebration – Moore Taste came to be.
